what is a giclee print?

A giclee is a type of fine art print produced using Archival paper/pigment and High Quality Inkjet printers for artists or photographers.

how are they made?

Giclee prints are made using high quality Archival pigments/papers and professional inkjet printers.

why are acid free and archival materials used?

Paper and pigment that are acid free and archival don’t degrade at the same rate as non acid free/archival materials. Archival/acid free giclee prints can last up to 200+ years. The neutral PH balance and archival properties of these papers/pigments is what gives them their Quality and longevity.

what is the max size you can print?

We can print up to 24 inches wide for Giclee prints.

what is the max size you can scan?

We can scan up to 36 inches

SHOULD I MAIL ORIGINAL FOR SCANNING?

To ensure the best quality and color accuracy, mailing us your original is the best option. Having the original in hand, allows us to have control over the scanning process as well as proofing the print to original. Every monitor/display has varying color gamuts, an image that looks great on one display might look totally different on another. Our monitors are calibrated to confirm that whats on the display is true to original. This gets us as close to the original as possible.

how should i ship my art to you?

UPS and FEDEX are the best option. They have many options for flat art packaging. They will also insure your package.

Can i email scanned art or procreate file?

Absolutely! Scanned art needs to be at least 300dpi and file type should be .tif, .psd, .pdf or .jpg. Keep in mind that we can not color match for accuracy because we wont have the original to reference. For Procreate files, please make sure they are at least 300dpi and the canvas is sized correctly.

TURNAROUND TIME AND PROCESS?

Our typical turnaround time is 8-10 days plus transit time. Once we receive your Original or Digital Files, you will get a proof along with invoice. Once Proof is approved and payment is complete, we will start your print job. Your order and original will be shipped to you via UPS.

WHAT ARE SHIPPING COSTS?

Each package we ship out typically has a different weight and size. Calculations will be made based on your job size and weight. Your shipping costs will be included in invoice. We strive to get shipping costs as low as possible.
